Answers to Common Questions about A-Direct Limousine Service

  1. What is “Personal Service”?

    This means that you are the only customer unless directed by you, that we pick you up at your home, take you to your departure gate at the airport of your choice, on your time. That means no waiting for a crowded bus, travelling all over the country waiting for your turn to be dropped off, and a lot more room and comfortable seats!

  2. What does it cost to Pearson from Peterborough for 1 or 2 persons, or 4?

    The cost for 1 person is the same basic cost as for 2 people. That is $180.00 plus tax for either 1 or 2 persons! The cost for each additional person up to 6 passengers, is $20.00 (plus tax) per person. The only people in our vehicles are the ones you contract for! Example: 1 pick-up at your house for 4 people is basic cost of$180.00, then $20.00 for each additional for a total of $220.00 plus tax for 4 persons. There are additional pick-ups and locations outside the city. Just call for a quote before you book!

  3. How many people can you take?

    Our vehicles are Chrysler 300`s Luxury, with comfortable seating for 3 or 4 persons. Our Extended Mini Vans, are coach style seating and hold up to 6 passengers plus the driver. If there is too much luggage to fit in the vehicle, we can strap to the luggage racks outside, otherwise seating is more comfortable for a maximum of 5 persons with lots of luggage. Just tell us your requirements and we can advise.

  4. Can you handle Proms, Wedding Parties, or Formals?

    In a simple answer: NO. We do NOT have Stretch Limousines, Stretch SUV`s, or Buses. That is a different type of business, which we do not handle. Sorry!

  5. What other types of service do you handle?

    We have done transportation to US airports in Buffalo and Rochester, NY, as well as many concert events in Toronto and Oshawa, and Ottawa, and have acted as a wedding shuttle for guests from their hotels to the wedding or receptions and back to their hotels at the end of the event! We have done some sight-seeing tours for foreign guests of our clients, upon special arrangement. We have also done special delivery of rush repair machine parts, and parcel or document deliveries that have to be made NOW and to a specific customer! We also handle special trips to other events, theatre, book readings, meetings, to cottages, etc.

  6. What are your hours of operation?

    We operate our service for whatever time or day you contract for! 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year (366 in leap year!) If your flight is out at 6 AM then we are on the road with you at 2 or 3 AM depending upon the airport or destination! Bookings should also be made in advance allowing us to schedule your personal service, however we have many times done last minute rush deliveries!

  7. Do you handle pets?

    We do not handle pets, but we do take them with their owners when travelling with their pets. To prevent accidents, the pets must be in travel kennels or cages, and under control of the owner. We must ensure that future guests in our vehicles have no problems with allergies etc. You must advise the scheduler, when booking your trip, that pets are included, and the size of kennel etc., so we can ensure all will fit in the vehicles! There is no extra charge for pets!

  8. Why does it cost so much for 1 person?

    The cost for the vehicle to travel, say to Toronto, includes the gasoline for both directions up there and back; the cost for employees to both drive, and schedule; insurance on the vehicles; wear and tear on the vehicles; maintenance; telephone and advertising; tax collection; accounting; banking; credit-debit machines and associated costs; profit; and any other miscellaneous expenses incurred while doing business. As we have said this is a personal service, not 1 seat purchased on a bus of 15 to 50!
